I like the look of the bilge pump set up damo, what are the connections that you have used?

I have currently have my bilge pump hose going through the original lid vent hole but it leaks badly when I drive the van with a full tank.

Took me ages to sort out, so will show you what i can remember....

Plastic 1" female X 1" male thread elbow  ( http://www.cleaningspot.co.uk/acatalog/Plastic_fittings.html )

I then wedged on the yellow hose and used two jubilee clips.

Make sure you use plastic washers on top, rubber below.

Then something like this in the lid

http://www.screwfix.com/p/straight-tank-connector-21-5mm-pack-of-5/11877

You will see in the lid i had a white fitting ^ That similar BUT the wrong size.

If you aint fused on maximum flow, then i would just fit something like this...........

http://www.screwfix.com/p/bent-tank-connector-21-5mm-pack-of-5/11326

Best bet is do what i did, i got everything i needed, went to local plumbers and they matched it all up. The above will put you on the right lines :)

How do you attach the hose inside that tank to the white fitting?

No hose inside the tank. 25mm conduit.

It gets rammed into the white fitting. Conduit down to bottom of tank then piece of hose from conduit to bilge pump barbed fitting.

They key is to use 25mm 1inch fittings if you can.

Search for LED strip lights on eBay for 12v

Matts can be found on eBay so Kempis says :)

you seem to have it all under control. What you do need to Christmas is a smart relay the orange one you see on e bay its a absolute gem.I only fitted one this year and battled with batteries going flat and it is the answer.

I have a split charge relay installed.

If I need to top up my van or leisure battery then I have the battery charger :)
