Hi, I've got this Hoselock submersible pump at the moment......
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000PBWCTQ?ie=UTF8&camp=3194&creative=21330&creativeASIN=B000PBWCTQ&linkCode=shr&tag=straglue-21
.....and I'm currently pumping the water through standard hose reel, which takes about half an hour to 35 mins to transfer 220 litres.
I've noted that quite a few on this forrum have been recommend using an inch or 1 and 1/2 inch hose to transfer the water, but can anyone point me in the direction of this fittings I'll need for this on my submersible pump?
Thanks in advance.

This pump has a 3/4" outlet so hasn't much scope to deliver water quickly.
You need a proper submersible pump. Look at what MachineMart have and look for something similar. Most will have a stepped outlet connector which will allow a choice of hose size options.
If you do a search on submersible pumps on here you will find numerous threads dealing with your topic.
