Hi guys
New to the forum and new to wfp window cleaning. Has anyone got advice on pricing window cleaning jobs in the Surrey area. I'm finding this the most difficult part of the process in getting my head around with conflicting opinions. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Cheers ???

Some peeps price a normal size window £1 others look at a job and think right that house will take an hour which some work on £30 an hour some £40 an hour. I'm assuming in Surrey that would be around £40 an hour or £20 for half hour.
As I'm old school I'd always price on how long a job would take me by traditional on ladders.
Hope this helps 👳👳👳

Really helpful chap. Gives me something to chew at. ;D

Work out how long each window will take In minutes.
X amount for small windows
X amount for patio doors
X amount for leads
X amount for Georgian.
Etc etc
Then add all the minutes together. Work out how close to other jobs. Setup times etc.
Then work out what you wanna earn per hour.
Usually when I price in my head then do the above. In my head I am always out. So this has stopped under pricing.

pretty much the same as other posters, used to do the £1 a window malarkey, just price the jobs on how long you think it will take you to do from start to finish and factor in your desired hourly rate, this method is spot on in most cases, however there is a bit of overlap when you look at trad and wfp.
on the larger jobs a trad guy @ maybe £20 per hour would say five hours=£100
wfp the same job could be done in 2 maybe 3 hours @£30 per hour=60 or 80 quid
something to ponder there, but don't stress too much about that at the moment
there is a book by richard sorrell aka www.tecbuk.co.uk that would explain things a bit better if you want to know more(some on here will say its a waste of time/crap etc-but hey their choice)done wonders for me

Cheers starting to make sense which means I feel more confident in going out to price jobs now. Will look into book.
Any thoughts on pricing the other elements like conservatories etc
-
many will disagree with this but the same principle applies for me,work out how long you think it would take you to do it,this work is priced higher in my case and i do these usually when its raining(gives me something to do on the rainy days)same with guttering etc,if you can't clean windows when its raining drop onto the guttering or conservatories(again some may not agree on this)priceing wise its a bit of a minefield and to be honest down to how deep the customers pockets are/how big the job is/and how well you sell the job to them, for instance i did a facia/soffitt and gutter clean yesterday, conservatory roof included-plus up sold cleaning of windows and frames and rest of conservatory for £110.
i was happy/the customer was so happy days,it took me four hours and a bit to do,so you could look at the earnings per hour at less than £30-but rainy day-still working and earning,.
as a rough guide for conservatories anywhere from £45 upwards and facias etc price on time you would think it takes you to clean them, its still a relatively new market and there really is no right or wrong price just what the customer might accept-don't panic and under sell your self be brave and say ££££ then keep stuumm let the customer decide on the offer yes or no 9 times out of 10 its either yes or could it be a bit cheaper-your call then.
hope this helps a bit-kev
