Got a phone call to price a job up.
Went over and its a dead easy house but a little out the way. So went a whole £2 more than what i would normally quote lol. Got the job, she went on to tell me a list of what the other guys used to do. (skip windows all the time, no sills and smoke round her house)
Anyway she wants a quote for her mum, sister, dad and two neighbours.
So far i have quoted mum, sister and dad. Got all three of them. One neighbour textd today and got that one, she is also asking her friends.
But here is the killer they all use the same company but they are all in different villages.
I don't feel sorry for him as such. But WOW i would have a word with his lads, as they are gonna start losing him work.
Best watch my back lol, he will think i am poaching his work.
Cool story eh! lol

ive had that a few times.also had a very nice woman approach me the other day wanting me to start cleaning her windows after xmas.she said she feels bad about sacking her current WC but shes had enough of him.does a crap job, comes when he likes, doesnt clean sills or frames or doors and just knocks for the money with no calling slip when he cleans when their out.
i know the window cleaner in question.he has been cleaning windows for 50 YEARS!!(started at 18,he s now 68!).he charges £5.my price £15.
ive picked up over 100 accounts of his over the years at double or triple the prices he charges.he s always having a dig at me when he sees me using wfp.he also says he doesnt know how i can get away with the prices i charge!!
i cant believe someone with 50 years experience doesnt understand if you provide a better service you can charge a higher price! ::)roll ;D
