Title: Only been going 18 months but this was one bizarre work request!!

Had a call today asking if I could call and price putting Christmas decorations up on the outside of a house local to me. Customer enquired if I had a ladder and a drill and when could I call!!!
Politely declined but being the season of goodwill I did offer to lend him a ladder to do it himself.
Any advice on how to price this up would be warmly welcomed!!

Tell him £50 per hour of your time

I once got asked to fix a plastic peregrine falcon onto a tv aerial (25 ft up) to scare pigeons away.
I made my excuses and left........... ;D

Today i was asked to clean the wheels of one of them granny baskets????
I politely said "if i clean the wheels of that with my brush i think it might leave muddy marks on your windows"

i was asked the same last year , they had been spent loads on lights etc for there but could find nobody to put it all up for them.
