Post by: ben M on November 26, 2013, 09:35:19 pm
how do you clean vented soffits? the holes are black and even after the clean, still running dirty water and leave black marks on soffits when dry.

I did some today that were a pain.

What I did was scrub so that the upvc was clean. Let it drip a bit, then run the shaken off brush along to dry off a bit. Then shake the brush off again and run along a second time. Mostly fine, but one stretch was still not gtreat so I went over with a microfibre on the brush.

let them weep out.
When you've finished, go back over, one pass, water turned off with a clean brush head.

Same as everyone else.

Instead I use the unger pad system to dry the drips.

Is that a separate  telescopic pole set-up? How long is it?

I always price slightly higher and finish with a towel wrapped around a dry brush! Makes them look perfect

No what I have done is modified the
Pad socket and then I have fitted the Gardiner quick loq.

So I use my normal window cleaning poles.

Whole setup cost I dunno £40?

I pour solvent on the disposable cleaning pads for removing tiger stripe black marks on guttering works a bloody treat.
