Post by: craig lindsey on March 14, 2006, 09:06:37 pm
For some reason, i keep coming across a lot of customers having urine stains on their carpets & rugs, are there any good stain removals, that really work, on the market??????? ??? ??? ??? ???

I would believe that urine has amonias therfore is not just marking but staining and bleeching the fibres, some people use peroxide and try to bleach it back or lighter or oxi cleaners could be used, but I would stress caution with eather

You should tell them to use the bathroom thats what it for. I came across a urine stain dog, i use and oxy type product one of those off the shelf just kept letting it soak for a while and then rinsing it out it worked a treat I must admit it did not get it all out but compared to what it was like at first the customer was very happy. Hope this helps

I posted on this about ten days ago.

The Correct way is to treat both the back and front of the carpet the underlay and Floor board.

I was asking how many Carpet Cleaners actually do this?

Personally I use Urine Neutraliser followed by an Acid Rinse

But often find there is still discolouration
