Morning guys,
I have noticed that my tank has gone a bit green which I've taken and cleaned, I remember someone saying that they painted there tank, so I was wondering what type of paint is good for this?
Many thanks,
Gordon

Thinned down gloss can be used on plastic.

I was going to paint mine but I just did a bowl of fruit instead.

You'll have to prep and clean it very carefully if it's polythene. Something like plastic trim primer will get a grip or acid etch primer. Once you have a key then probably anything although 2 pack acrylic would be best for which you'd need a body shop - would look good and last well but might be rather expensive... Failing all that wrap it silage clamp plastic and cut a hole for the filler.

Thanks for info chaps, I'll have a go

Green tank just add a cup of household bleach from time to time, before weekend and leave the lid of the tank open. Now i hear all the chaps going off we remove the chlorine from the water. Yes you do but chlorine is a gas and it will evaporate soon enough and it does not create spotting anyway.\i do this regularly and never ha a problems.
