Doing a few more clear glass roofs these days but never seem to come up spotless ............ anyone found its quicker / better result by using conny roof ladders ?
-
They are good but they add extra time on job plus risk of damage then theres the extra cost of purchase the ladder.

Ian , i clean a fair few roofs and for that reason i purchased a con ladder. yes they are not cheap but they make the job alot easier and faster to deep clean the roofs. Getting up close on the roof gives a better end result ! Ed

Glass conny roofs used to be a mare until I bought a Karcher window vac. Karcher do a extendable pole that slots into the vac. So it's a rub rinse then vac off all remaining minute debris, thus also make the roof totally dry, custom are always very impressed

If theres an outside tap then blast it over with that then give it a final "polish" with pure - however still marks on glass which I could see when doing the inside of the roof ... prob being too picky as customers was like "wow fantastic looks like new"
conny ladders would have enabled me to get up close to the outsides .... ok pricey to buy but if it takes a lot longer to clean then hourly rate will be effected ??

ian do you fancy climbing ladders up onto the roof for the money your customers are willing to pay for the clean?it will take longer and your hourly rate will suffer for sure.

I use an Unger in-line detergent dispenser bottle to clean conny roofs, gutters/fascias/soffits etc. It has a valve to let you dispense 'SOAP' to the brush head to get the dirt really moving and then you turn to 'WATER' to allow to rinse down with pure water. I've found it really efficient and quick and all my custies have done the "WOW" thing after. Most importantly it keeps my hourly rate up high!!
