hi mate i have an immersion  work well don't they what setting do you have the thermostat on i have mine on sixty i dont lag the tank so keeps van warm when at work so same as you water must come out of brush to start at 40 then may drop down to 35 after four hours

If your using that anywhere near 0degrees then be carefull.

You run a high risk of thermal shock and cracked glass. I did it last year. :(

I run mine at top setting (70 I think) but I have a 650L tank and so when full four hours heat raises the temp from about 10/15 to 25/30.

Those levels are in the tank not at the brush head. I get supple hoses.

If I am doing a lot of first clean or a school etc I would put it on 8 hours and get about 35/40 degrees in the tank.
