ok lads but how many houses approx im trying to get a number on it relative to my daily workload
thanks again

if you keep your flow on about 18-20 then you can do a whole days work. about 15 houses.
-
this is my 2nd week Wfp yesterday i done 13 houses.....3 were front only, the others were 3, 4 & 5 beds plus 2 cons. i emptied my 250L tank, did not use any of my containers. bearing in mind this is the 1st clean with the pole i was happy, i took my time and done most of the windows twice, on average it worked out about 19L per house. hopefully next time ill be quicker and not use so much water either ;)

many houses you get through then Jonny?
-
I've got a 600L tank and the most I've done is 20 houses in a day consisting mainly of 4-detached some with connies. Needless to say I was totally knackered at the end of it...! :P
Most days I get through 400-500 litres so a 600 litre tank is great in that I don't have to worry about whether or not I'll have enough water for the day.
-
Do an 7 hour day with a high flow use 600l a day
-
i use 250 litres on average i clean between 10-15 houses depending
on size of property

Depends on the run mate.
Usually about 20 3/4 beds.
I've got one run of about 60 houses that me and my dad do together, my 350 litre tank just makes it.
It's a long day though. Some small houses too. There just all next to each other.

300-350L a day i use currently.works out at roughly 50L an hour for a 6-7 hour day "on the glass" time.this is maintenance cleans using an aqua-daptor and tradding some ground floor windows.
throw in a really dirty first clean or two or a add on job with no access to outside tap and i dont have enough water.also i find i just have enough water on some larger house runs of work in a 6 hour day.
i use a high flow as it makes me work quicker but i really need a bigger tank!!500L would be perfect i reckon.
tom a 210L tank would do you if your just wfpoling the upper windows for now mate.the only thing is after a while you ll want to wfp most work as its usually quicker.
-
tom if your a one man band and planning on staying that way and you have a busy workload id say go for a bigger van and a 500L tank then you can wfp virtually everything.
the 210L tank will just about do you for tops only.ok as a stop gap if your havent got the funds for a bigger tank and van at the moment.
very best wishes

thanks Daz and all posters
i think im going to go for a toyota hiace and 650 L and at least then i should never be short water
bit expensive but u get out what i put in i think

210L = 1 man - half a domestic day.
400L 1 man - 7 hour domestic day

I have a 210 tank in my mini clubvan and that does me just fine as i would normally only go out for 4 or 5 hours per day if however i have a long day i just go home for a cuppa tea and refill my 210 tank and then back out as most of my work is local to me but if you don't want to run out or want to work 6or7 hours then i would think 350 or 400 would be best , I have just got a combo van which I'm putting a 350 tank in , my view is i would rather have the water i need and then refill if I'm getting low rather than carry 650 ltr around as the weight of all that water behind me worrys me
Just my thoughts Marc

we use between 250 - 300 litres per day with 2 people trad bottoms, cleaning 40 -50 houses depending on size/state.
