Title: Help with fitting a tank

Hi guys

I've got a 250l tank to put in my combo, I don't have a frame for it, I've seen a couple that have had ratchet straps over them, how does this work with insurance??

1. For installation, use a pneumatic electric stapler (using staples number 6 to 8). Leave the original cover on your saddle.
2. Centre the front or rear of the cover first of all, then the two side, following the elastic edges.
3. Stretch the cover well so that the elastic passes right under the saddle; work the PVC to move the elastic under. Never leave it on the edge.
4. Staple the front and rear centres, near the elastic (not on the PVC).
5. Check that the elastic is well stretched and that the elastic is correctly placed under the saddle.
6. Next, staple the two sides in the middle. finish by going all the way around the saddle.

im in the same boat but im just considering buying the whole system as im moving from trad to WFP, there are some good videos on youtube about the fitting of tanks etc  tho sean

You won't be able to fit a frame into a combo due to the floor unless you weld in plates like me.

You the strapping hooks in the middle of the van.

Most small independent local garages will fit  them thats where i got mine done.
