just wet the glass and stickers, leave a min or two then blade off with a razor !

Stanley blade & turps.

White spirit.

get paper off then i use anti backterial jel its alcohol based, it removes it very quickley . i have it in the van . so when you get the dreded dog crap all over hoses. etc.youve got some protection,NO before any one says you can always drink it you cant. ;D

make sure you change the blade to a new one or you will scratch the glass

White spirit works every time ... turps tends to leave smears in my experience.

I bought some Sticky Stuff Remover from B & Q having read about it on either this thread or on another. £4 odd for a very small bottle.
I tried it yesterday on a neighbours new'ish front door that still has the sticky residue from labels and stickers from when it was fitted about a year ago.
My honest opinion, sorry to say but I found the stuff is just one step better than useless and is less effective than lighter fuel which pound for pound is a lot cheaper.

Weird. Been using it for years. Came across it by accident.
Oh well.

Virosol. I wouldn't use anything else.
Citrus based degreaser that just melts stickers.
Put it neet on a cloth and buff it in with circular motions. Leave it to sit for 30 seconds or more and clean as normal. At most you will have to take a blade to only the really stubborn stickers.

Nail polish remover-for the really stubborn stickers.
