Title: Government says You should have your carpet cleaned every 6 months

Acording to a leaflet I picked up today the Government says you should have your Carpet Cleaned Every six months.

This must be Good News.

In the next Budget aswell as Winter fuel, Bus passes, TV Licience, Eye Tests etc

Pennisioners will be getting Carpet Cleaning Vouchers.

I hope NCCA is in there negotiating hard.


What a shame this carpet cleaner was misinformed.

I wonder how many members of the public will believe him.

Do you mean you picked up a leaflet from another carpet cleaner who has stated this?

Did it come from Tesa Jowell cos in that case it must be rite, she always tells the truthe, Doesent She  ;D ;D ;D

Yes John,

From another Carpet Cleaner.

Obviously he is refering to the Cleaning Standards set by IICRC or whatever its called.

But did not know this was a Government organization

IICRC are based in Vancouver Ian, so maybe it's the Canadian government

I clean carpets for a member off parliment, i wonder if you could send them a leaflet its like getting blood out of a stone she has it done once evey 18 months to 2 years, another example of the government not taking there own advice!

I should clarify.

It was a Carpet Cleaner saying in his leaflet that Government says you should have your carpet cleaned every six months
