Title: Pump or controller issue

I'm having a problem with ether the pump or the controller but I don't know witch. The first problem is the speed the water comes out at the brush I used to work with the controller at 40 and it had a decent flow rate but now I have to have it at around 60 for the same speed. The second thing that started yesterday was when I extended my pole fully and tryed to clean 3rd floor windows the water would stop altogether or just start trickling out the brush. Then towards the end of the day the water would run full speed out the brush for about 4 seconds the cut off for 4 seconds the just kept repeating like that till I finished for the day.

Can anyone help please because its driving my nuts.

Air temperature affects the water in effect the water runs slower, The colder it gets the more you will notice the effect. The slower moving water means the system is slower to pressure up, and the control can think flow has stopped an DE the pump.

Re calibrate the control. Also check there are no blockages in the hose lines, Jets or strainer which will also affect pressure.

Check the connections and cable to ensure nothing is loose or worn. And ensure you have good voltage in the battery. Low voltage can make the pump struggle for power

yep, cold weather, up the pressure cut off. ;)

If i was to manually calibrate it what number should i do it to?

I don't know what controller you have but you need to increase the pressure cut (Also known as DE- dead end). This will be your problem.

If you state which your controller is them someone will be able to instruct you.

Are your sure its not the battery comng to the end of its life??.

This IS assuming your battery is ok & you've flushed any possible air out of the system.

The above link will take you through the auto cal, If you manually calibrate the control increase the figure by 10 and see how that works.
As above do check the battery is ok plus connections between the controller and pump. Air or blockages will also cause the symptoms you describe.
