Title: Hot Box
Post by: SunShineCleaning on November 20, 2013, 08:34:42 pm
Who uses hot water?

Who has the following: 1. Gas heater i.e. shower heater
                                      2. Gas Hot box fitted by supplier i.e. Pure freedom
                                      3. Diesel hot box i.e. Websasto or supplier fitted like Ionics

If you have any of the above would you write a review for Window Cleaning Magazine?

I have both a desiel heater in one van and a diy fitted gas heater in other van. Have to say the gas is better as I find it more controllable and hotter if needed. Cheaper to run aswell. I think however the desiel heater will be more reliable in long turm use.

Hi

I've got a pure freedom diesel heater if you need any info. I have the 9kw(?) one and use it as single operator. Had some issues over last winter as there are operation tips that pf don't make you aware of when you buy it

It's a great bit of kit but not the cheapest to buy or run

I'd be happy to submit a full review if needed

15 litre tea urn filled with boiling pure water plugged into my cig lighter.
fill it up at custies outside tap when it runs out. ppm out of urn 56.does me fine had no complaints. handy for filling up my pot noodle at lunch time also. the van gets a bit steamed up so leave back door open.
