Title: General Pricing Help
Post by: Mark A Smith on November 19, 2013, 06:40:15 pm
Hi all,

Can I get an idea from ppl on the general pricing of  both gutter and soffit cleans and conservatories..? Just started out window cleaning and literally have a few houses in my area I do the windows, someone has now enquired to what price I can do guttering for and their conservatory.

Do we price based on the overall length of guttering at a property, or how about your average run of the mill sized conservatory ?  ;)

I have a minimum price for conservatories starting at £50 and then it quickly rises up to c.£90 depending on size, how dirty/green and accessibility.

I don't do inside gutters as I don't use ladders and don't have a gutter vac either. I've only been asked on the odd occasion to clean inside. However, loads of my custies want their exterior gutters, soffits and fascias cleaned. I use a wfp system with an Unger in-line soap dispenser to help shift the dirt and then rinse off with pure water - they come up gleaming! Rough price for a 4 bed detached £75... Don't forget to do and charge for the windows as they'll be covered in all the grime that you've just washed off the roofline!

Hope that helps...   :)

Please tell us more about the Unger in line soap dispenser, Mr Pro Smart. How do you find it?

Try this link   http://www.ungercleaning.com/p-1178-hiflo-soap-dispenser.aspx

I bought through Window Cleaning Warehouse (I think) for about £35. Have used it a lot on gutters, fascias, soffits, cladding and connie roofs.

Very effective - easy to use

Yep - that's the one...

It's not a bad price really. It has a valve on it that you can turn to either 'SOAP' or 'WATER' or OFF.
