hello all, if i was to canvass all day from 10 in the morning right through to 6 how many customers should i be aiming at to sign up

Personally, i would,nt call any earlier than 4pm, purely from the point of view that many householders are'nt in any earlier than this.
Also legally, you cannot work after 8pm, that gives four hours of 'prime time' canvassing.
Doorknocking is demoralising for most, even at the best of times! so why make the job even harder by calling at the wrong time.
Calling as early as ten in the morning might get you some angry responses from shift workers as well!
But its down to whatever you feel happy working with really,
