This is the life. I dont much envy him though poor sod must be freezing today with no gloves on.
-

You're a really nice guy bet you've got loads of really good friends!!!!!!

He left them at home.

As it goes i have plenty of people asking me for work, Im not doing this to make friends, i do it to earn pound notes to put food on the table..
Im obviously doing some work getting my hands dirty but as the saying goes--"why have a dog and bark yourself".
-
The best thing about having an employee is - you can treat him like a dog!!!!
-
Thought I was a taskmaster making mine climb gates and do all the connies
-
Treat persons how you want to be treated and then they work AMAZING for you .
That's what I do
And when I broke my hand for 5 weeks , he did loads of stuff for me .
-
Sorry Mick I agree with Kempy, why treat an employee bad that's not on m8, if you treat them well they will treat you well when you need them to work a weekend or abit later they won't mind. I'd never do that in fact I prob do most and is be the one going up high ladder if needed as wouldn't want employee to fall
But hey that's me !!!!
-
And me , I do the harder stuff , awkward stuff . But sometimes may mate does .
-
I do treat him well!. Been with me 3 years so no problem there...
What other boss do you know that pays a full working day for working 9-2??
Its nice that i dont have to freeze all day when i have someone else who can freeze for/with me depending on how many houses we have from that stop point..
Anyway we are done for the day now so happy days.

Yes employees earn us money and do some things that we don't like doing anymore, but its not right to get on a forum and boast about it. There's probably not many jobs in your area so he's probably thinking 'better the Devil you know'.
The guy who works for me I refer to as my colleague, as he helps to make the business move forward and frees up my time expanding and doing the business stuff. I wouldn't sit in the van whilst he's working in the freezing cold, especially when you could offer him your gloves at least.
-
Why didn't you offer him your gloves?

Why didn't you offer him your gloves?
