A Cimex 48 would beat the Victor hands down for stair agitation with sticky pads for the risers   :)

I found the cimex a little heavy on stairs and tend to just use the hbot these days.

There is a cimex machine called the amigo produced in the 90s for stairs.

If anyone ever comes across one I will buy it.

As above or a DA polisher with  small Zebra pad or small Greenscrub pad.

Seriously surely a decent selection of handheld brushes and a good handtool is easier quicker and just as efective as negotiating a rotary on stairs?

Usually by hand with a nylon brush but if needed one of these.

I was using sebo duo for stairs, but once i got oreck this is my way. So easy as u can hang the oreck down not bending your back and also agitate the edges of the stairs.

DA Polisher with white carpet brush does a great job.

A manual brush is fine. Your problem is that your using microsplitters. Stairs are a high traffic area, MS's will just tickle the dirt.

Floormac for me, an efficient means of cleaning stairs. Use the terry bonnet and it will clean the nosings without flying off the drive board.
Jamie I have a cimex amigo sitting in my garage.

Jamie, I think I have 2 sets of brushes and I set of pad holders with it. But I will need to check to make sure I can still lay my hands on them, and check that is still in working order. I will contact you to discuss it during the week.
