can you call every 6 weeks, if so i wouldn't bother he has shown his commitment to you by the standing order and if you want redress the balance a bit......miss out a frosted window every now and then ;D

What's wrong with what he has suggested? (ignoring the low prices, that is)

If it is a 6 weekly job then I can't see the problem either?
The way he has set the direct debit up is most straightforward and convenient way to do it.
On certain months he will actually be in credit with you.  ::)roll

I reckon in life that 95% of people are ok! and 5% are not. He's firmly in the latter category. I'd drop him out

I think you'd be better off at those figures, providing you do them every 6 weeks and taking a month as 4 weeks.
2 cleans in 12 weeks and you get £17.34 instead of £16.

why would you take a month as 4 weeks  ???

It's the closest number of weeks to a month.

maybe but if he still do 2 cleans in 12 weeks, he would get £16 not £17.34 because a month is not 4 weeks and a year is not 48 weeks but 52  ;)

why not I do, I quote 4 weekly not monthly, I get 13 cleans instead of 12 per year

It depends. I'm sure you can get 3x22nds of each month in 12 weeks.
Reading the original post again, I wouldn't be happy waiting until the 22nd for the reduced amount when I cleaned on the 13th, if that's what happened.
The arrangement would work if payment started immediately. And it also works if you do it over 12 months.

You're ripping him off if it's a 6 weekly as the cost spread over 12 monthly payments is 5.7777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777 and so on

anyway, if you do 6 weekly cleans, I don't but if you do, I don't see a problem it works out over the year, and getting customers on standing orders is a good thing

Waste of time doing work at these prices. Sorry, but it's not worth bothering with.
