DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER - has this ever happened to you? People are nice really, deep down, even the seemingly awkward ones. Well thats how I see it anyway..... I see the good in everyone.
Has this ever happened to you?
Today I meet a new manager on one of my contracts, very lovely lady and fair sounding. This site we provide office cleaning 7 days per week and a monthly window cleaning service.
After introductions we got down to business.
She was concerned that my staff were being taken for a ride a little by some of the staff she newly has to deal with being the new manage and all. She wanted to talk through the contract and make sure that she understood it and that she was concerned my cleaners may be doing jobs asked of them by her staff that were the responsibility of her staff. My cleaners are great and hard working she says and we want to make sure we have them doing other jobs in place of the bits they do for her staff that her staff should be doing.
Then she says, we have a different company that cleans the windows and they are really poop!
I said, I don't want to embarrass you but we clean the windows too. I know they were cleaned a few days ago. We sat in an area full of glass and I pointed at the nice clean glass.
Can I ask you why you think that?
They leave water every where....... lol so I had to explain pure water tech and the fact I spend a lot of money on the tech. I did mention that I ran a window cleaning magazine too.
Bless her, the joke came up several times in our hour meeting after that. We were both red faced lmao

Lee Burbidge - Here is one for you. We picked up a residential prospect through my web site last week. I was having a meeting with Sam at the time over updates to Round Partner ( Jon Lorentsen) We did a quick check on Google Earth and was able to give an instant quote. He then rang me and discussed if we used trad methods or wfp. He was defo not having wfp!!!!!!Turns out he used a company before that used wfp. They left a lot of streaking and spotting. Instead of saying yeah we will do it trad if you want to we offered to do half the house trad and the other half wfp so that he could see the difference. We asked him to call us if there was any problems on the wfp side and we would be happy to re-do any areas if he needed us to. Ermmmmm he likes wfp now

Hi Lee. I did spend 20 frustrating minutes today trying to explain the simple science involved in cleaning windows with pure water to a very old, slightly senile lady, who just could not grasp the concept. Apparently the water will ruin her walls!

Done a 30 quid house today. The were also defo not wanting wfp when I first spoke to them... the guy before left streaks and spotting. Persuaded her to try wfp with me, perfect job and very happy :)
I used a CLX with a Wagtail Orbit today :)

There does seem to be a disproportionate amount of wfp users out there whose inadequate working standards are, unfortunately, giving this cleaning method a very bad name.

Cause when the customers house gets canvassed they'll say no for fear of getting another crap WFPer.

I had a customer who tried to pay me £4.50 today lol i said no its £9
She said oh you want the money for next times today aswell !!!
She thought it was £4.50 every fortnight so £9 every 4 weeks lol stupid old dingbat
Then she said £9 every 4 weeks was too expensive but £4.50 every 2 weeks is a good price lol .
