Has anyone on here used the Villager Magazine to advertise in? I did for 3 months at the beginning of the year. I received the first issue on the 23rd of the month (they apologised and I paid half price) , the 2nd issue I received on the 14th of the month (they again apologised and said the service will improve so I made payment) and the 3rd issue I never received and I refused to pay.
9 months later I still haven't seen a copy delivered. I've spoken to a lot of people in the village I live in and they haven't seen it either.
Last week I received a letter of intent of legal proceedings >:(. I feel so angry about this has anyone else had this kind of problem with them.

Sounds like another scam.
I've been down this route recently: If this gets passed to a debt collector (likely) they will put a bad debtor marker on your credit rating and this will cause you problems for years. Call your regional Trading Standards office and tell them.
Tell the company that you are willing to pay if they can prove they have upheld their part of the contract - and keep records of all communications.

Went in one issue, didn't get a single call, have seen it delivered around the village though and did get get a copy, did also get constant calls from them though wanting me to go in more issues.
