hi,i have a prochem blazer, started to notice there was water left in my vacuum hoses .My knuckle valve is not springing like it use to on pressure and when i put my finger over some of the holes on the valve seems pressure is escaping. Is this normal? Is there a diaghram behind the spring?

What pressure is your vacuum gauge reading when you run it at full power with the vac port blocked off?

Hi SIMON,thirteen as normal...

And is the valve bleeding air at13?
The whole idea of those valves is that they don't bleed air until the pressure reaches its preset limit, unlike standard valves that bleed before the set point and lose performance.
Try allowing some air into the port so that the pressure is say 10. The valve shouldn't be bleeding air, if it is there is a problem.

yeah its bleeding from two of the holes in the valve only...

Take it off and examine it, it may just need a clean.

Thanks Simon, I'll try that tomorrow

Also check the fine filter that protects the blower.
