Hi
Here's a good one , on Thursday did an hours office cleaning and then went to help a lad on a factory window clean , he had got there to start in the wfp van.
When I arrived most outsides where done so I went inside to start office windows .
I took of my jacket to put on high vis and because it's boiling in there food factory with ovens going 24/7. Cracked on with insides and after about half an hour lad joins me inside for a bit . The next job has to be done for 9 am so when it got to 8 told the lad to cut out I would finish the factory whilst he did the next job
At 8.30 finished factory had a quick coffee in subsidised canteen went to my van
Then it dawned on me my jacket was in wfp van now over half an hour away with my keys in it. Lad got back to me at 9.45 . :(
Was 10 when i next did anything

We all do daft, I do daft extremely well. Many moon's ago, used ladder to go up and over a big balcony, wind blew ladder's over and left me stranded on balcony. Big country house. Had to phone the lady of the house ( who had left for work) to come back and let me in through the balcony door's.

John you should have chilled had another coffee, I know it's a nightmare especially when you got quite abit of work to get on with. Least you had an hours rest.

We all do daft, I do daft extremely well. Many moon's ago, used ladder to go up and over a big balcony, wind blew ladder's over and left me stranded on balcony. Big country house. Had to phone the lady of the house ( who had left for work) to come back and let me in through the balcony door's.

lol similar thing happend to me . but on a flat roof cleaning sky lights and my hose caught the ladder and knocked it over.. i had to dangle myself down off the flat roof.lucky really . because the ladder could of damaged the patio doors ..

I also love the payment slip wind joke. You drop a payment slip, you go to pick it up and the wind blows it. The wind stops , you walk over to said payment slip again and another gust appears WTF and why lol

I met a bloke in the market the other day selling cleaning stuff, he over heard me saying to girl friend that the cloths he was selling would make good scrims. He then went on to say he used to be a window cleaner and to watch myself on ladders. Anyways wasn't til he told me and I looked down , both his legs in calipers !
His ladder had blown over many years before and he was stuck on a first floor window ledge, unable to summon help he decided to jump :o
he'd shattered both his ankles beyond repair.
he must still be thinking to this day, he should have just smashed the window and climbed in, poor sod.
Anyways on that cheerful note, have a good weekend. ;)

you should never jump, you need to hang off so your feet are at the lowest it can possibly be and then let go.... not that i have done that lately... used to do it on the school farms in south africa when we stole the school chickens... LOL and ate them...

once flicked my squeegee to lose a ball of cobweb off the end and it landed in a jug of orange juice . i was in the next room 5 minutes later and could see the main man pouring himself a glass
