Hi
Guys im going to price up a hotel for the carpet cleaning , is there any rules of thumb
for pricing ? so far I have only cleaned houses and a few offices.
Thanks a mill

Price it low enough to win it, but high enough to make a profit from it. ;)
-
CC I kinow does a few hotels charges £1.40 sqm hope this helps.

Find out what the others are quoting ASK see proof undercut them but still make profit ;)

lower than house cleaning, if you have the right gear you can do a much larger area much quicker so it adds up better..........

Thanks guys im getting the picture ! ;)

and set out your payment terms if you do not want to be waiting 3 - 6 months for payment.
In my experience hotels are low value late payers, make sure you protect yourself against this.
Also do a proper pre inspection and 'photograph' any problem areas or pre existing shrinkage etc. if you don't expect to be blamed and not payed.
Apart from that crack on ;D

Hilton nailed it photos & more photos.

...and get a purchase order from them !

I didn't get one I quoted on a few months back, wanting carpets and the upholstery cleaning, it was a pretty posh hotel £200+ per night and I went in low, parking and access was also a mare, lot's of narrow stair cases and over 4 floors with no lift, as was the time scale they wanted the job doing in.
So all in all pleased I didn't get it

Sound
Advise , cover myself !

Sometimes it's just not worth going in far too cheap if parking etc is a nightmare!
