This goes all week then I charge it.

Very pleased with it, but only had it 6 weeks so I can't vouch for its longevity.

Buying a large battery is a waste of money the important thing is a relay as this will put back as you use it and your battery will last longer as lead /acid only deliver 33% of stored power before your pump will slow and cut out.Get wise and fit a smart relay and forget about buying new and still running out of power.

Leisure battery's aren't designed to be constantly topped up keeping hem 100%.

They will last longer if you let them discharge, then charge them back up. A battery may only have 200 charge cycles in its life time. If your constantly topping it up with a split relay you will use them up much quicker.

Just my thoughts on it.

I charge my 110 amp every 3 days. It works great.

Ctek chargers are so easy to use too. I just plug in to a socket permanently fitted to the battery. Simples.

i read the opposite if you let the battery get to low then that damages it more, thats why i charge mine every night..do you have any links to where it says to leave it for longer between charges as i'm not sure now if i'm getting the best from my battery now.

cheers

If it has heavy charges from flat to full if does build up phosphate. Most time the loose water through vents even on so call sealed batteries. I have in the past opened these up and added water a good tip is to keep your battery well insulated as cold ill reduce the life. There is some good you tube vids on batteries.
