Smart, I used to have a black one from new, make sure its looked after (i'm sure you will) as it shows every tiny little mark all over :-( On to silver now which I prefer as they don't look as tatty as they get older.

I don't think I could ever go back to a white van.

BTW have you had a vivaro before, I absolutely love them, can't fault them at all, it drives like a car when its empty, the look on peoples faces when you overtake them on a slip road, they can't believe its a van.

I know this is a few months old but just browsing the archives...

May be a silly question; do you guys trailer tanks or do you hook up to mains?

Personally I don't have any tank fitted, so use clients water.

Roger,

I have a 55 plate Renault Trafic and I'm adding a new LWB Vivaro in the next 2 weeks.

Did you buy or lease? And for what reason?

Thanks
Tom

Lease, better tax breaks then buying, plus hand it back after 4 years and start again.

That's my thought too. Should be ordering it Monday, good vans.

Who did you use? I've got (what seems) a good deal with a company called CVC.

Tom I used this company http://www.vansexpress.co.uk
The guy there (Andy) was very good at sorting everything out, even came round to collect paperwork personally on a Sunday.
I did find a couple of others that were also good, but for me this one is based in London so closer etc plus the dealership is also based in the south.

I bought a vivaro sportive  with 30 k on the clock . so far, it has never missed a beat and looks the part . I do however like the new Ford Transit !

I bought a 3 year old transit for £9k + and its has cost that much again in repairs. A new one with 4 years service and 5 years warranty is £22k - I do about 25k miles a year. I have to buy as the lease firms don't like you cutting 65mm holes in the floor
