To me it looks like ya standard window cleaning leaflet which should pull in work.

Only thing i would have changed is the images to be "real images" of you cleaning, your van(s) etc etc

This my thinking as well.

The only thing you can do is do a special offer on it. Mention prices. Or from £10 etc.

My leaflet works well usually get between 5 - 10 calls per 400/500 leaflets.

But my leaflet is totally different and some guys wont agree with it. But we price our work :)

I'm far from being an expert but the leaflet looks OK for the most part.  My personal view is that a leaflet should be a minimum of A5 size - but I'm sure people get results with smaller.
The only constructive criticism I would offer is:
1) It is generally better to make statements than pose questions (though there are many exceptions*).
2) In heading your leaflet "dirty windows?", that's exactly what people think of - dirty windows.  The most effective advertising tends to create an image in people's minds - preferably one that will trigger a positive emotion.

However, I feel that the biggest error (if I may call it that) is the omission of a contact address.

*)  The best example I can think of in using a question to good effect was a local newspaper ad some years ago.  It asked "do you scratch your bottom in the bath?"  It was a place that sold bathrooms and also offered a re-enamelling service for old metal baths :) .  So sometimes, using questions can work very well.

Sometimes its not the leaflet so much but the area its self, personally for canvassing you cant beat a pic of van and pic of doing 3rd storey windows and above conservatory roofs. They seem to be the main hooks

Put an offer on the leaflet, Make them think they will get a good deal if they use your company, keep it simple as possible. Leaflets do work.  ;D

what you need to do is trial a new leaflet and measure the response.

then go with the best response one and trial again improving with each go.

that's what pro direct marketing companies do, and that's the only way to find the best leaflet.

it doesnt matter what people on here think, all that matters is the number and the quality of the customer its bringing you.

good luck!

really.  i was thinkin of stapling a  home made voucher to it , to spice up the original.   i can remember in my local paper a heating firm ran an ad for years and occasionally had a gift of wine if you could match their number to a flyer number.  i can still see the firms owners face in my mind.

Your idea is cleaver and stapling the voucher your self be even better and eye catching or even a wee slip of special offer

It'll be fine if you have Ionic's permission to use their picture (the one looking down on the pole)

If not, you'll probably be hearing from them.

Got it done by mike at studio arts, gets me on first page google, what's other site?

I looked at Blue monkeys site  - that is a studio arts site too - same pictures, virtually same layout and text - bit of a cheek to do two window cleaners' sites  so similar.

I don't think Blue Monkey uses this forum anymore?

What you think they don't monitor what's going on on here?  And even if they didnt see it themselves, there are plenty of ionic users who have paid for their systems and with it got permission to use their images who will be happy to report it to them.

What if he took a picture himself or even got permison to use the picture.

Anyway back to topic.   Your Leaflet I would try tidy up a wee bit.    There not really a 'Call to Action'   which is like

Call John Smith on 0777777777 to book your clean now!
or
Call Quick before the offer finishes

Lol @ the Ionic nonsense.
Ionic will ask for the image to be removed-if they care-nothing more.
If they've got time to waste trawling the interweb for pictures they ain't got enough work.
I had a mate a while ago do me a website. He used a random image that the owner asked me to remove. I just got him to take the image off.

Re 'reporting' their image use.

Ionic seem to have a few followers in the same way that Scientology has members.

Has anyone ever seen Craig and Ron in the same place at the same time? Hmmm....coincidence...?

That would be a neat trick considerig that L Ron Hubbard died a few years back.
