Post by: Stoots on October 23, 2013, 07:16:59 pm
Just bought a extracta exel, can anyone recommend a training course? can carpet cleaning be learned via the internet and practice? or will i need to fork out some money? i have time to learn not going to setup in business whilst the spring. I know prochem do courses but they are nearly 300 miles away! anything near yorkshire? Or does anyone have any links to carpet cleaning tutorials i cant find anything, thanks adam.

Training starts with a slug doctor. Trash a couple of carpets and you will soon learn. Lol

Adam, just checked on Google maps and Chemspec Europe are only around 26 miles from you. Their at Baildon West Yorkshire, they sell a large range of chemicals and do various carpet and upholstery training courses from beginners upwards.

Here's a website link  http://www.chemspec-europe.com/ when at the home page mouse over view product range and click on the menu for Training Manuals and Courses. This should help get you started with your training needs.

Good luck Phil

Extracta do a training course, did you buy the excel from them? If so you'd probably get the course free.
