Hi
I have many carbon necks Alex .
Can I buy add ons to make these 10" carbon necks fit the new Quik Loq stuff as 2 out of my 5 poles may go onto this Quik Loq stuff . .
All do I buy the 10"carbon neck at £55 all in , I will have to do this on one as I need a whole assembly .

How does that attach to my carbon neck which I screw to my brush with the two holes.
My carbon neck opens out and then you screw through the two holes , I think its a whole new 10" carbon neck I'd need.
I need 1x carbon 10" neck anyway .

You cut the end of your gooseneck off. (The part with the legs and screw holes) you then glue that adapter on. You just need a quick loq adapter for the brush head simples.

PureH2O has answered it all for me :)
You saw off the end of the current gooseneck.
File off the outer surface until it tightly fits the plastic end converter.
Slide this on and mark the centre of the hole.
Remove and drill a 10mm hole on this mark in the carbon neck.
Clean both surfaces apply glue to both and fit.
Ensure that it is correctly aligned whilst drying.
Using PU hose slide this through the hole and down the gooseneck.
Job done.

Are the new ones designed with it being glued on as well ?
Or is it purpose built
Just glue tends to un do every so often especially with all the movement from side to side and up and down at the brush head .

That is true, makes it a lot simpler.

The Quick-LoQ carbon goosenecks do not have a separate plastic part. They are entirely made of carbon including the connection socket. They are made in a mould much like they make carbon fibre bike frames.

Ive been using the qick lok adapters for two weeks and so far two springs have popped out whilst changing brush heads. Think I will just replace brush and gooseneck at same time instead of swapping just brush heads as spring button becomes stiff and spring collapses inside the plastic joint, lot of hassle for what is a good idea, not really impressed with it practically, shame

In the 10 months we have been selling these we have never had this happen to anyone. Please email me with the details as to how this has happened as I want to get this sorted for you.

Hi Alex, as you may be aware I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and so I'm heavy handed with fiddly button to push down on the quick lock goosenecks. I don't have a lot of strength in my left hand fingers but make up for it with extra strength in my forearms. I find the release button hard to keep held down whilst pulling the brush head away from the goosenecks and am probably pushing too hard on the release ball, can't help it as it's the only way I can manage the task. To compensate for this awkward task I am finding it easier to keep a few spare goosenecks with different brushes on so I can swap the whole brush head and gooseneck in one go as it's easier for me given my handicap. The goosenecks are a very good idea but in my situation I find them hard to work with and learn to work around my illness on a daily basis with everyday chores in life. Think I am the exception to your everyday wear and tear with user ability with regards your products

Yes you had discussed this health condition with me in the past - certainly makes life tougher for you.
How I find the best way of releasing the brass button is to use the end of my thumb - this means that the edge of my thumbnail pushes the button in and means that I have to use very little force to release it.
In practice for general working (not during brush testing season) I tend to keep my favourite brush on my favourite gooseneck and just swap the whole gooseneck as this is even quicker than switching brushes.
