Title: One large RO or two or three smaller units???

I have been thinking about this for a while now.
 
Looking to get a couple more RO units and or one larger RO unit.
 
I know that Andy Cheney has this top notch RO that produces 17000 litres per day.
 
I am not saying that is a bad thing but is it best to have one huge volume unit or say 3 or 4 smaller units that will give a combined total output of the same.
 
I am tending toward 3 or 4 units solely thinking that if the one big unit has a fault - no water produced but with 3 or 4 units, one or even two have a fault at least you have some water production.
 
Any thoughts

3/4 more filters 3/4 more membranes to buy invest in a 1000 litre ibc tank and if you have a problem next day delivery is done by most suppliers and if your using 1000 litres a day  youve to much work ;D

I always backup with spares for everything etc. If it freezes in a van/garage and you have one in the house, at least you can produce water.

we also sell a unit that can produce 300 litres an hour or 600 litres an hour up to 1000 litres an hour. the three hundred litre an hour is about 2500.00 from memory and is totaly auto-mated the 600 litre an hour is not much more .07944227635
