Title: Can't work out how to auto fill
Post by: Steven White on October 20, 2013, 02:09:59 pm

This is a picture of my current setup which is a combination of MDPE,Hoselock and JG Pipes, Merlin RO, double DI and water softener.
I really badly need this system to start manufacturing once pure water is pumped to the van and stop once the Pure water RBC Tank is full.
I also need it to run to the waste water tank/drain after the RO until the TDS drops to around 20 before it is sent to the DI's and pure water RBC (which currently I do manually with the JG valves / I also regen the water softener manually because it has a massive 60psi water pressure and the washing m/c hose blew off the water softener while unattended when on timer regen)
So how do I do it (preferably without metal to avoid freezing)? And what kit would I need?

Bloodyhell looks all complicated to me, I've got all my static set up in the garage with just the tank pump, reel & battery in the van oooo and not to forget me fog wash which will go in within the next month when it gets colder !!!!

Wow. If I was blessed with a garage what a wonderful world I'd be living in. I had to run 32 MDPE a long way to get anywhere near my van due to the stupid place I live

We use:

System is fully automated, saves so much time. Really surprised more people dont see the benefit in having fully automated production.

This is really interesting, thanks. Never heard of it before. I can't find any technical information on it (I have no booster pump as the water pressure is so high anyway). Do you think it will work with my current setup? I need to find out more about it, because this looks like it could be the solution.

I think there may be a solution minus the booster pump, maybe drop Alex at Gardiners a line?

alex@agardiner.co.uk

I believe Purefreedom do auto shut off kits also.

This link will give you the quick start guides for the S2. http://springltd.co/node/71

Although designed with a pump in mind the float switch and solenoid will work independently of a pump as will the TDS probes. The S2 is a 240V AC unit primarily built with automating water production in a static system.

The solenoid is fitted in line on your water supply line. Once set up each time the tank empties the float activates the solenoid and water production is started.
