well i have had problems with tap causes to much pressure and then heater wont work turn tap on then turn controller on it works well so thinking this will stop that

The problem you have (I think) is trying to use a heater. When the heater fires up it sends hot water down your hose which softens the hose itself - this allows the hose to expand. The controller doesn't know this and keeps telling the pump to add more pressure which it does and blows your connectors apart.
There are ways to improve the situation - run a lower temperture, use a better quality hose and a better (faster controller).
Ideally a bypass back to tank would prevent all your over pressure problems. A remote would be no help at all. You also need to callibrate your controller with cold water and your highest pole first.
The problem with digital controllers is that when your heater is working you need to reduce the pressure at dead end pretty sharpish before everything blows - something you can't do quickly because of the crap way they are made - you can only alter the pressure whilst it's switched on and pumping by holding two buttons etc.
When your heater trips, you now have cold water pumping through the system and not enough pressure.
Analogue controllers are better because the pressure can be altered in a second.

I might add that I had similar problems - the cure for me was to use car radiator hose to the hose reel, thermobore hose on the reel and to remove all restrictions like the barbed connectors in all the push fit connections. I also got rid of as many hoselock connectors as possible, re plumbed the heater to suck water through it and used braided steel hoses to and from the heater. I also dumped my Varistream controller and fitted an analogue Spring controller.
Most of the above problems as I mentioned before could quite possibly be fixed with a bypass system providing a pressure release.
My problems were so bad - I wrecked two Gardiners hosereels and a band new 100m reel of hose. Filled the back of the van with water whilst stopped at traffic lights (connector blew off) and blew the connector off in the reel center several times.
I don't have much hair left anymore. ;D
