We had our app developed as a mobile based app for about £1000. I'd say judging on the people on here that have smart phones and would benefit from an app this could be sold far less than the lowest price option of £25. Say it was £10 I reckon it wouldn't be hard to find 100 buyers.

I wanted to ask where is the £0.00 option but come to think of it if its a one off payment and its really good, with text buttons next to customers so you can one click , etc then £25 so I voted £25

People pay 10 pounds a month for some apps.
At £100 you have saved in the first year and have it for lifetime.

Tbh honest most apps are free or very cheap.
You'd be looking at a lot less than a tenner to sell in volume.

+1
I am cheap, i don't like to pay for anything!
However if I was the designer I would want you all to pay top bucks for it!

But others pay 10 pounds a month for something that does a lot less than than this app will.
This will be a one off fee not a monthly direct debit.

I wouldn't pay a monthly fee either.
I'm not bad with excel so I would use that if I had a big round.
Its just in the app world things are free or very cheap.
I'd make the app for anyone who needs to organise work in a round not just windies that way you get volume and keep the price low.

I think if you charge £25 upwards to start with it might struggle, until it gets a few good reviews, then you could possibly charge more

Thank you for a great response.
I think it will be 30 pounds to start off with especially as google take 30% of that.

The apps that are free are downloaded millions of times and make money from adverts.
This is soley aimed at window cleaners and does more than what people pay 100 plus pounds per year.
There are many apps over 100 pounds.
I see what your saying about for other people too.
Looking at for wheelie bin cleaning and landscape gardners too.

if you get a few people to review it and it turns out really good, 25 - 50 will be right becasue we pay monthly

In 3 years our app has resulted in 3 glitches. I don't think its fair to have to pay huge fees for the small amount of updates required. As long as the app is developed right first time. I.e number of pages etc.

Before I paid any money I would want to know what the app does.   ::)roll

Am I missing something here?
What app are you talking about and exactly how will I benefit? As it stands right now I know nothing about it so therefore am not interested and certainly would not part with any cash.

for app at £30.00 your going to need a trial before people buy to be honest.. there are too many apps out there not worth even £1.00 .. i think to get people to buy it youl need to run a trial for a month example to new users.

why would anyone want to keep paying month after month just to use an app when you can buy and own outright George for 50 as a one off payment. Must have money to waste comes to mind. Sorry but George or excel are just as good. I bought 2 programs much more expensive than George before but they needed online support frequently and the owners of the programs gave lousy customer service, .......COUNT ME OUT not interested unless its a good program that's reliable and can be bought as a one off payment

Hi first of all it is a one off payment.
It will be reliable far more user friendly and will be a one off payment.
Introductory offer will be £15 to outright buy the app.
After the introductory offer it will be sold for £30 to buy app outright.
Thanks
