Hi ,
Any body got a Ford Connect Van , and had this problem , Glow plug light starts flashing , after a mile or so the van slows down starts to lose power and then stops, I then restart the engine and its fine. This has happened twice in the last couple of weeks , both times at around 65MPH
Just been to my local garage they hooked it up to the computer and said no problems ! But they advised me to take it to a main Ford dealer.
cheers
Paul.

Surprised nothing showed up as this is a fault which is putting engine into limp mode and shutting down to prevent damage. I would do as he says and go to main dealer. You can clart on for ever so may as well get it sorted first time, hopefully.

Post the info on the Ford Transit and connect forum. They have been very helpful to me in the past.

Might be accelerator pedal switch, had a similar thing on my transit.

It could be that, however that should have shown on diagnostics. Forums are great, trouble is numerous things could be causing this so worth biting the bullet.

Hi
Sounds like the environmentally filter my fiat did the same, not cheap to change!
