Title: Roof Cleaning fall arest training

Looking at starting to offer this service from spring next year.

Want to get trained as dont fancy myself or an employee dying or injured.

Can anyone recommend a training company that covers the likes of residential roof fall arest ?

Watched a few youtube vids and seems to be a roof ladder with a short length of cable clipped to a harness as the way to do it ?

Lee Blastaway has just done harness training, not sure if that covers it though, speak to him to find out more

Lee did it with Chris snott so you can imagine what that involved  ??? harness and various other pieces of rubber PPE   ;D

I did my training with Spanset in Cheshire and the refresher training a few times after.  I covered pylons and masts as well as roofs and walkways.

I am fairly sure they had a range of courses for different industries and could probably put something together for you.

Of course the emphasis should be on safe working so that the need for fall arrest is minimised!

We are finishing some cleaning for SpanSet tomorrow, on their roof, skylights
