I've just started cleaning a car garage that has high, large windows to clean inside. The windows are about 24 feet to the top, and each pain is about 6 feet by 4 feet.
Has anyone used the vikan easy shine for this type of thing? And is it any good, or likely to leave smears all over the place?
I was thinking just wet the whole pane with a damp pad, then polish off with a dry pad.
They are being cleaned every month so shouldn't get too dirty inbetween.

Ive used vikan easy shine on a office building, cleaning all internal glass walls, windows etc up to a height of about 8ft. I just sprayed the windows with a mist of pure water then went over with the vikan. Best option for me as alot of works pc's next to windows and didnt want to damage them or there work .

yes i am tempted to get one, or maybe just the unger pad holder as ive already got the unger pole. Was i difficult not to leave smears with this method? Im just very concernd about all the water drips on the polished floor as im cleaning. Feels like an accident waiting to happen atm.

Hi Mike.
The Vikan is ok. I've just been cleaning a con roof internally in a furniture store. I've managed to bodge my own misty type using a trolley, parts of a napsack, poles, microfibre cloths & vikan.
It will just be a case of going over it several times.

will do mike,
The Vikan easy head fit's in the pole (Gardiners) then i just wrapped a microfibre over it and used a elastic band to hold cloth in place.
