Title: Pole Hanger.... dont buy one!!!!!
Post by: H20cleaning on October 07, 2013, 10:14:22 pm: I was looking at buying a pole hanger off ebay but they were about £40.00!!
so I asked my mate who works with metal to make me a bracket, gave him the sizes of pole etc and this is what he came up with! fits perfect no rattles and I will drill it onto my shelves so its a secure fit.

how can they be better this is cut exacly to size for my clx 27 perfect fit

I have these now but there so big when driving around I always here them clunking etc! so I had some made to size so they don't move

What if you change pole? I think you may find that is a bit tight for practical use where you take it on and off 30 times a day and the metal will rub and wear it.

Still 10 out of 10 for getting it done

Personally I didn't get on well with any style of bracket I found the 100mm waste pipe best just push and slide in

I had the gap made just a touch bigger than 2inch( a clx 27 is just under 2 inch.. so I should imagine most poles would fit I just hate the rattles in the back of the van so trying to get nearly everything fitted down

I bought the metal, plastic coating hooks from Homebase yes I bought 2 as well pmsl !!! And a couple of the gutter ones screwed into the ply seems ok holding poles and brooms o yes and me Hoover handle !!!!
