Title: Inaccurate work brief
Post by: Paul Redden Countryfresh on October 05, 2013, 08:59:07 pm
Just lately I have turned up at custy's who then ask me to do more than they said originally,
this puts me under pressure and blows my work schedule to bits.  ::)roll  I only want spots she said...
meanwhile I'm there all day doing rugs, stairs, rooms etc,   great for work but annoying  :(

Being given more work is fine... but accept it on your terms

If this makes your other booked jobs late then you need to explain and rebook the extra work for a later date.

Book jobs like this.

Be with you between 9-10am, 1-2pm. This gives you freedom to do extra room or 2. Can even go 9-11am with 30min away call. Remember british gas, sky, dfs etc will give am or pm and get away with it, so 1 or 2 hour slots is still pretty good.

Have to agree with Mark

Giving an hour slot easily allows for being early/late, we do the same.

We never give firm appointment times it would be impossible to do unless we booked in far less work. Customers do understand this it is common sense.
