dont give any money to any canvassers untill you have been shown the customer list they have just canvassed .
then go to different customers in the areas and clarify to them that you will be cleaning there windows .
only then when you are satisfied they are genuine newly canvassed customers, you can part with yourmoney then.
not before. dont trust anyone wanting your money. untill proven to. ;D ;D

When i buy rounds, i dont pay until after ive cleaned the round and spoken to all the customers . ;D

funny i was going to book them before i booked whizz bizz

Hi paul ette just wondered if whizz bizz where any good?
-
booked for november so dont know, but heard good things about him, apparently one of the better canvassers out there

Things like this do make things more difficult for genuine knocking teams, looking at the ebay account it does look like a genuine window cleaner. Doing it as a newbie member is not good and could be misconstrued as perhaps a disgruntled employee or rival crew. If the person is genuine they should be applauded for saying something and it would be great if they popped up with a website/fb page/ twitter so they can be verifed.
Tips when paying canvasser
Ask for a copy of passport/ drivers licence
Speak to the refs provided and research the refs
Ring thru a few customers first where applicable.
Paul I will be there on the agreed dates with only the following get out off jail cards, illness, injury death. 2 of those really are not great excuses.

Not good as it makes people wary of us - but the warnings must be made.
It's also unfortunate that some genuine companies are on the sponsored link section of the gumtree page. A reader might assume that the conman headline refers to them. One of the companies is local to me and is totally legit.
