cookies...when i go on some websites sometimes a message appears regarding cookies, you seem to get the option to click on them, because it will enhance my experience??? are you best avoiding these.
I get the impression they are slowing my computer down and on a regular basis i have to scan the computer and always end up having to remove "tracking cookies" from my computer

It's a UK requirement that all websites that use cookies need to tell you hence the messages you're seeing. The websites that tell you that they're using cookies can safely be clicked on. It's the disreputable sites that don't show you this message that you have worry about!

Always get rid of cookies Bob, they get you in trouble. MY missus was always concerned that ads for Asian dating websites appeared on my pages and not on her computer. Final straw was when she went on mine and seen recently viewed ads on gumtree...vibrator, gimp mask etc. Our relationship hasn't been the same since and i'm not sure if she knows or not, but i just delete them after ever session now. I'm still in the market for a plug although i did get the mask ;D

OK, i've nailed your problem. You're doing such a good job at removing cookies that the websites you're revisiting are not recognising you and asknig you if you want to accept them every time. ;D
Whe i saved this websote to my favourites i edited the title and instead of clean it up i inserted "redtube", so anyone in my house who goes on my computer thinks redtube is a winddowcleaning forum, which sort of gets me off the hook ;D

Some cookies are good and some bad. Cookies can be useful, say you frequent a site a lot and have personal settings like you want to see the last post on a forum first, this will be stored in a cookie. Other cookies will track what you do to advertise things they think you might want. In your web browser there is a setting that will clear the cache and cookies for that setting.
