hi
i've bent one of the rotary arms on my FSC it still spins ok but i want to put it back into shape. It looks like some sort of alloy possibly. anyway am i likely to snap it trying to bend it back, should i apply heat first? it seems like its goinf to need quitr a bit of force to bend it back so i thought i would ask first.

Buy a new one.. they are cheap enough.. if its even slightly bent, it will wobble and ruin the bearings...
-
I never thought of that, any idea who sells them cheapest?
-
What model is it? is it a whirlaway or mosmatic or something else?
-
its a techclean one like this http://www.tech-clean.co.uk/index.php/products/flat-surface-cleanersrotary-washers/ (http://www.tech-clean.co.uk/index.php/products/flat-surface-cleanersrotary-washers/) i've just had an email back and they sell them for £69 + + £8 for nozzles + vat + delivery. however i've just looked on ebay and there's a whirlaway one for £52 incl nozzles and delivery

Roland,
Around £100 all in, their prices haven't changed much then in 8-10 years, if it was me I'd stick with the Tech-Clean arm, you know it is going to fit & work.
-
hi roger
yes took your advice and bought the tech clean one. £100.80 all together so quite a bit more but like you say at least i know it will fit.
-
Just keep the nozzles from the old arm, might be useful as spares one day.
Down time with kit can cost more then the proper replacement in my view.

Yep I agree
