Title: Alex Gardiner challenge / idea
Post by: Ian101 on October 02, 2013, 07:07:35 am
Whilst work away on a gutter sofitt fascia job yesterday I thought there must a big market for a proper designed brush for this type of job.

Something thin enough to get into gap between gutter and board and something with more jets (maybe 6 ?)

What do you think Alex ?

ps quite happy to try any prototypes for you  :)

I made a converted sill brush when they first came out.

It has 4 fan jets.

2 fan jets are used for cleaning, then a secondary line feeds the other 2 fan jets. This is then linked to an electric sprayer for HSC.

I can usually knock these fascia cleans out in record timing.

It's very very simple todo.

I did make a 6 jet version. But that was rubbish.

Gardiner sell a brush scraper. This fits inbetween the stock and brush. I fitted two fan jets into that scraper and just linked up another length of hose. Very simple.

I use a pump up sprayer when it's a small job. If it's a big job I use an electric sprayer.

Made lots and lots and lots of stuff over the years. But haven't got the time to faff with uploading.

What's HCS ?

Hard Surface Cleaner.

Used around 30/40 different types over the years and keep coming back to the main two i found out about a year or so go.

Old news now. UBIK and Virosol.

I do things a little different tho, i incorporate solvents and creams as well. This is when i am doing my specialist cleans :)

UBIK 2000 works best for me. Usually 1:3 or 1:4 ratio

BUT

I use Virosol on glass roof's or 1st cleans

Send me a sketch of what you mean and I can have  a look at it.

Many users find the curve on the Radius Sill brush works well.
