Title: Lets see if I get my money
Post by: Neil Gornall on October 01, 2013, 03:55:00 pm
I got a phone call from a company called spring partners back in May saying they were doing a refurb on 2 local building societies and could do a clean as it was due to hand over.

I said I would so I then got an email confirming the job. We did one but never got the go ahead for the second so I put a bill in for the first and that was the last I heard.
Despite 3 follow up invoices... Nothing.

I have written the money off as its only £25 but today thought I would have some fun  ;D
So I just called to say I will give them 7 days to pay or I am going to go and put all the dirt I removed back on all the windows then walk in and tell the manager why, followed by an email to the building societies head office. I then wished them good luck in securing more work from them and bid them farewell.  ;D

Whilst writing this I just got a call to confirm my details and when the invoices were sent out  ;D

Well That didnt take long.

Just had a voice mail on my mobile from the account dept to say its being sorted, and a phone call from the MD on the office line to apologize and say its being sorted but does not like to be threatened and if i put the dirt back it would be criminal damage.
I agreed, I said yes I realise it will be criminal damage but are your or the building society really going to bother taking me to court for a bit of dirty water? he didn't answer, but just said its being sorted so no need to bother.  ;D ;D

I make that about 20 minutes from my initial call.  Lets see how long before the money hits my account now  ;D

Pay up front or pay Strictly upon arrival and we start work once you pay for the first clean the amazing thing is we actually give YOU credit this means you become a valued customer and you get 21 days

This method and It's all very easily avoided no criminal damage charges no boiling blood no bad situations why cos they have already paid
Isn't it brilliant
Sometimes We gota take a page out of whizz's book if you think there is a chance your payment might be long winded stick to it simple ;)

Good result, Neil.
Did you have a stocking on your head when you went into the building society?  ;D
