Hi guys want to try fan jets but just wanted to find out your opinion on them first please
-
Wouldn't use anything else
Knowing this will end up as a big slanging match I'll just say. FOR US we get better results, and quicker cleaning of windows using fan jets over pencil jets.
The best jets to use are the Lumark blue jets. Gardiners are okay but don't really fan enough then you can get the really rubbish brass fans that are totally useless.

Agreed. Fans for me are better. More coverage, speedier, a little wayward when it's really windy. Plus I have turned my controller down one. I'm using red gardiners fans. Will try the blue lumark ones though based on smudgers review

have you got a link to these lumark ones ? not heard of them before.
-
do i need anything else just about to order a new brush with them on or just order the brush with fan jets
-
ive just changed to fan jets, I wouldn't go back now.
-
I use fan jets. The only thing that I don't like is on a first clean when you go back after the top frame has stopped dripping only to get the frame wet again from the fans.

I think you can get cheaper if you search around

i am really scared to say this...............but i have gone back to jets, sorry guys :'(
I ordered a new extreme light brush from gardiner and for got to order fans with it anyway started using it and i found the extreme brush and jets to be brilliant.
On first cleans i very rarely get spotting i am not cleaning any more than i normally would, i have reduced the time on the glass for regular cleans.
I do have the pressure at around 40 and i find this good rate of flow really helps the speed..
It could be the brush but i dont think for now i will change back but as a precaution i have installed two red low pressure fans in to the brush in case i ever need to change say on a very large or hydrophobic glass

Jets for me - fans are too hit and miss with extreme brushes - nothing to hold the overspray in.

well for me its fans and pencil in the same brush ;)
