I still have the floor to fiberglass, and I want to paint the shelves and sides ( if anyone can recommend a good wood paint in blue) Also a new CLX coming in a few days ;D
Nissan primastar 80,000miles, I had all the graphics prints and done and fitted a DIY system in the garage and the van as you will see on photos ( for anyone looking at building a system)
Me and my dad fitted the shelves in there with some old wood we had.
The forum only lets me upload 3 photos onto 1 post so basically in my garage I have a 1000L IBC, and a 450GPD system attached to a wooden board on the wall of my garage.
YES I AM AWARE MY BONNET IS OPEN ;D

It'll cost more than your van did but it'll still only shove water up to your brush ;D
-
Ano i wonder why people spend thousands on a system when its all exacly the same water and brush at the end of it? Someone enlighten me ???
-
Because you can put a reach and wash sticker on the van if you do ;D

I did mine for under £500 although I don't need an RO.
Tank, pump (second hand), battery (found in shed)
New hose and reel, twin reconditioned di's off eBay.
Made my own Harris pole, since upgraded to slx.
Nothing's gone wrong yet either.
But then again there's not much in this system to go wrong. ;D

Same here, did mine over 9 years ago & it's never let me down. In fact, I'm replacing my two DI vessels this week as I "suspect" that the internal rubber seals are past their best & mixing pure with none pure to a certain degree. Replaced 1 pump & one hose reel in all that time. :)
