Title: trad cleaning 'self cleaning' con roof
Post by: g.brookes on September 26, 2013, 03:41:40 pm
Hi chaps.  Ive got some panes to clean on a balcony that needs to be done trad.  when ive done this in the past I've used a trad pole, soaped it all up and pulled down with my squeegee, you know, the normal way.
anyway, i always found it very hard to not get streaks on this type of glass, and then if i try to wipe them with a scrim that also marks it.  just wondering if anyones got any specific advice to make this a bit quicker?

probably not scrubbing it enough to lift all the dirt into the solution , i find you must scrub at several angles ,and  more than just once up n down , angle the scrubber a bit and really work it in -then squeegee with fairly firm strokes

one pane at a time

maybe a tad more .  i find its best to  work up a bit of a lather  on the glass by scrubbing in several directions

so you can then blade off a kind of cream with the dirt in it
