Do you go to your customers when they die?
I have lost a few lately and although I only chat to them for ten minutes every month they become friends in a way.

Personal choice fella, depends whether you feel you should show your last respects.. Always go to the tea afterwards and when someone asks how you know the deceased , tell em and hand out your card… Never miss a networking opportunity..
-
Only if the postie, milkman newsagent and paperboy are attending...
We do a card for the family but anything more is intruding on a families grief unless your invited to attend

You're a little Ray of sunshine this morning
Of course not, you should never mix business and pleasure
Only joking.
Unless they owe you money;-)
I think it would be a bit weird personally but only you know how well you know them

Why would you want to go, it's just time wasted when you could be earning.

No never been to one.
But I did send a card to a customer only a few weeks ago who lost his daughter and wife within 6 hours of each other.
Really sad. :(

i did one on the day of a funeral.
i have a cul de sac of about 7 houses and started down the road from the house,
the woman came over and asked me to do hers first before the family turned up.
i didn't bother going to get paid.
but she came out looking for me, so i told her to put the money towards flowers.

Time better spend canvassing to replace dead un prefebly with a younger customer so u don't have to mess about replacing to quickly.
-
They're so inconsiderate when they die, the barstewards.
I always go along in a clown outfit complete with spinning propeller on my head to cheer everyone up.
Never fails.

I've only ever been to a couple of customers' funerals. Generally I won't but occasionally there are people who are a bit more than customers.

tell me,your neighbour said to leave them this time because your mother was ill in bed,so I'm sorry, not has half as me 14 pound down, usually works but I got found out this time 9 times out of 10 you get away with it. :'(
