Customers who have cancelled in past always seem to come back...obviously got a cheaper quote and a bad clean.
I know most on here dont like to take em back. I do, cant say i blame peeps going with a cheaper quote, anything to save the pennies, i take it as a compliment theyve come back.

if they come back i always put the price up...............as punishment :D

Yeah, good news mate, hope it works out when you get them back. However, if I lose a custy for a cheaper offer, I wouldn't want them back, because of the chance they'd do it again. There are too many doors to knock and too many people who want a windy, so why should I take one back?
Same with bad payers. Never had one change. In the past when I've dumped a bad payer, if I took them back, they behave for a while, then become a bad payer again.
Maybe not all the same, but I find once they'r off the books, they stay off. That's just the way I see things, it's upto others what they do.
Glad your happy with it though. All the best.

I take people back.
Bad payers and people looking for a cheaper quote.
I just put them on advance payment.
After a few cleans they forget they were on advance payment then say 'not today' but i got paid already so i just walk away.
When they ask again, a year or so later. Same thing, but the price has gone up. Usually by a fiver or so-nothing drastic.
Had a £60 job do it 3 months ago and a £10 job this month.

Someone whose house I haven't cleaned for many years will be having me again soon. She told me that she regretted changing. It was so long ago I was still laddering at the time. She was an OK customer. Always paid within a reasonable time (on the day if she was at home) and when we parted company, she did it the right way - i.e. contacted me several weeks beforehand. It was nobody's fault. I had a lengthy illness at the time that greatly reduced my ability to work and she wanted a more regular clean than I was able to give at that time. So, no problem at all with re-starting the job. Obviously the price will be a lot more as we are talking about a 9 year gap.

I always take them back. As long I don't lose out on money.
Had one customer cancel about 3 times always down to cheaper quotes. She thinks she is winning I am desperate. But it's an easy £50 house. Her last quote was £45. Go figure.

how do you lot know that when you take them back there not just wanting 1 clean for the next 6 months???
I have only ever took one customer back and binned him off 3 months later when he said '' not today there not dirty enough ;D''

I put mine up a quid 4 months back, 5 cancelled, got 3 back this month, I enjoy the feeling of satisfaction when they come out being nice and telling you how great you are. ;)

We don't.
Same with every new customer in reality.
Charge a but more or in advance to counteract the risk
